We employ Team Teach techniques to ensure that every pupil achieves the best possible outcomes at Ivel Valley.

The Team Teach approach focuses on de-escalation and support for pupils with a focus on ‘risk and restraint reduction’.

When a child is in crisis it may be necessary to use restrictive physical intervention. Where this is necessary, Team Teach trains staff to intervene in a safe way.

We offer Team Teach training to colleagues from other schools and organisations within Central Bedfordshire. We have a track record of successful training for those in education and NHS staff. If you would like support with behaviour in your school or organisation, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We are able to offer both Foundation (6 hour) and Basic (12 hour) courses.
